Located in the popular Fells Point neighborhood, this vegetarian, vegan, and raw restaurant is close to many of Baltimore’s most frequented shopping areas.  All foods at Liquid Earth can be made vegan, and they offer a daily raw “burger” special.  The restaurant specializes in “fake” sandwiches, meaning they take popular meat-based sandwiches, such as a Reuben or Philly Cheesesteak, and offer a vegetarian and vegan alternative. In fact, the “Philly Phake” is one of the restaurant’s most popular dishes. Interior and bar seating is available, and the hours vary, so it is beneficial to check daily. The restaurant closes at 7 pm and stops serving at 6:45 pm, so it is best as a lunch or early dinner option. Street parking is available near the restaurant, which was not crowded at lunchtime on a Tuesday.  Prices are typical for a vegan restaurant, with fresh squeezed juices ranging from $5-8, raw food from $15-16, and sandwiches in the $8-12 price point. Menu items are mostly organic and are served quickly. The vegan oatmeal chocolate chip cookies might not be healthy, but they’re delicious!
