If climbing the mountains around Chattanooga is a bit too far out of your comfort zone, High Point Climbing and Fitness offers 28,000 square feet of climbing – both inside and outside.  There’s nothing like climbing on the glass-like wall outside, with cars driving past, right underneath you.  At night, it’s an entirely different experience outside!  But if the weather is crazy, stay indoors and climb on mushroom boulder, the wave wall, or the arch. For climbing, day passes are $15; 7-day passes are $84.  Accessory rentals (shoes, harnesses, ropes, etc.) are also available. High Point also has spin classes, yoga classes, a weight room, and cardio equipment.  The aerobics and weight rooms are pretty plain compared to the rest of the place, but most people don’t go to High Point for those amenities.  High Point Climbing and Fitness is part of “The Block”, and locals use these names interchangeably.  The Block is actually the name of the building which also houses a Rock/Creek retail store.
