Monument Valley Park Website

Just walking distance from downtown Colorado Springs, Monument Valley Park offers a 4-mile loop on a fine dirt and gravel surface. Both street and lot parking is available for this popular park, which features a wide path with no elevation change. Expect to see plenty of cyclists (both mountain and road) out and about at all times of day, but there’s plenty of room to accommodate everyone. The playground, public pool, and tennis courts offer a variety of fitness activities for the entire family, and bathrooms at the pool and benches along the path mean a variety of fitness levels can feel comfortable participating here. As is common in Colorado, make sure to bring your own water and expect limited shade. The breeze running along Monument Creek helps keeps temperatures cooler even in the middle of the day, and this path is a portion of the Pikes Peak Greenway! If you’re close to downtown, there are few routes more convenient.
