One block north of the Fort Worth Convention Center, directly across from the Hilton and next door to Del Frisco’s, is a sister restaurant of Grace called Little Red Wasp Kitchen & Bar. This place serves the more casual diner, with an open kitchen view, a full bar and two flat screen televisions. They offer a great selection for lunch and dinner and fantastic weekend brunch menu. The restaurant might get crowded during the lunch hour rush on weekdays with downtown office workers, tourists, and event attendants, so come early! However, if you want to enjoy the Texas weather and take a stroll at the JFK Tribute, you can order your food to go. The menu is available à la carte, but the portions are very sizable for a full meal. Prices may be a little bit higher than expected for lunch, but the food is worth it. I love the chili hot dog, even though that’s probably not the healthiest choice on the menu! The staff is attentive and friendly, so your water glass will always be full. If you go for brunch on the weekends, street parking and parking garages are available next to the convention center. The parking meters in the downtown area are free on the weekends.
