MacCready Reserve is a 408-acre sanctuary that makes you feel like you are miles away from any city. The park features a rolling terrain with plenty of challenging hills that make for a great workout whether you run, hike, or bike. More than 6.5 miles of trails wind through the woods, providing plenty of shade for a summer workout. The habitat on the Reserve varies from forested to prairie with plenty of terrain variation to keep things interesting! Cyclists should be cautious after rain events, as the trail can get muddy. Parking is free and there are no entrance fees. Make sure you are really watching for this gem, though – the entrance is easily missed.
