When you’re hungry, Food is always the best solution. The cafe triples as a small market and a caterer. Known for its breakfast options, which include amazing savory tofu scrambles (vegan-optional) and perfectly portioned steel cut oatmeal with a touch of brown sugar and caramelized banana, Food is the perfect way to start your day on a healthy foot. Every morning features a “pancake of the day,” and if you’re lucky, you might get the vanilla cornmeal pancakes or ricotta pancakes, served with berries and bananas. Food also features a wide and affordable range of seasonal, healthy, and delicious sandwiches, soups, and salads for lunch. Breakfast is served all day, specials are available until they run out, or you can pick up one of the pre-prepared entrees, sides, or sweets.

Parking is available in a public lot behind the restaurant and on the street at metered spaces. Although seating inside is sparse, the cafe has created a friendly, community-building atmosphere with individual tables nestled around longer, shared tables where you can eat a delicious meal and make a new friend at the same time.
