Located in the iconic and fashionable Dupont Circle neighborhood (and easily accessible from the Dupont Circle metro station), Ezmè features Turkish food served in the tapas/small-plate style. The restaurant suggests ordering 2-3 dishes per patron, making it easy to control portion sizes. The authentic Turkish cuisine features vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free items, all of which are clearly noted on the menu. Each plate ranges in price from approximately $7-10, and at 2-3 plates per person, the restaurant is more geared towards the dinner crowd. The small interior is well decorated and features a lovely ambience, but more impressive than the atmosphere is the knowledge of the staff. The staff is truly invested in the quality of their food and is equipped with the information to answer any question about the food or wine.  Each plate I sampled was exceptionally flavorful and enjoyable, and the hummus is a must-try. If you’re looking for a moderately upscale healthy dining experience, Ezmè is a great DC option!
