This chic restaurant in the trendy Eastern Market neighborhood near Capitol Hill isn’t entirely healthy, but it offers plenty of healthy options.  Well decorated, clean, and modern, the restaurant is priced for dinner and offers reservations through Opentable.com. With a wide range of artisanal entrees featuring a variety of proteins, Zest offers a true culinary experience with healthy options. There are no vegetarian options outside of salads, and tofu is not offered. The tasty food arrives in large portions and can easily be made into two meals. Appetizers and entrees range from the healthy (seared ahi tuna) to the not-so-healthy (artichoke and cheese dip), so there’s no need to worry if you’re dining with someone who isn’t so into the healthy lifestyle.  Whether you’re in the mood for a simple mixed grill or pan-fried catfish, Zest offers a variety of options that you can feel good about.
